Gima H. Forje has over 10 years experience in development work; most of which has been with the management team of the TY Danjuma Foundation where he serves as Grants & Partnership Officer at the head office in Abuja, Nigeria. He has extensive experience in result-oriented grant/programme management. Gima joined the TY Danjuma Foundation from the West African Civil Society Forum (WACSOF) where he served as Programme Officer for Peace and Conflict Resolution. Prior to that, he worked as Programme Officer with the International Centre for Conflicts and Human Rights Analysis (ICCHRA), Cameroon.
Gima is passionate about promoting inclusive grassroots initiatives for people in underserved communities and has a keen interest in questions of social justice, democracy and governance. He holds an MA in Humanitarian Assistance from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and an LLB in Law and Political Science from the University of Dschang. Gima is a graduated of the prestigious Next Generation Internship Programme of the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI), based in Accra, Ghana.
