On January 22, 2019, the TY Danjuma Foundation with its partners commissioned a motorised borehole with a 45,000-liters overhead tank capacity in the premises of Venstra Theological Reformed Seminary in Bika Lupwe Community, as part of efforts by the TY Danjuma Foundation to improve access to clean and portable water in Nigeria.

The Chairman, TY Danjuma Foundation, Lt. Gen. T.Y Danjuma (rtd) in his speech at the commissioning noted that “the health challenges associated with lack of access to portable water are enormous. Scores of Nigerians, especially children are affected on daily basis by diseases due to lack of access to safe drinking water. It is against this backdrop that the Foundation invests in creating access to safe drinking water”.
